By plane From Salzburg Airport to the conference venue it is approx. 20 min by taxi or 40 by bus (Take bus #2 in front of the airport to train station and switch busses. Take bus #5 or 25. Continue as described below (public transport from train station).

Cheaper flights might be available to Munich (2:30 hours by train to Salzburg)

From the train station to the conference venue:

By cab (taxi) Cab stop in front of train station - Fare: around 7 to 10 €

Public transport Bus stop in front of train station - Bus #5, 6, or 25; get off at ‘Justizgebäude’ (7th stop) - Ticket: 2 € - You can get cheaper tickets at newspaper shops

By foot Walk to center until you reach the river Salzach, continue along the river towards south (against the current) to Nonntaler bridge (roundabout), turn right, walk up to Hypo Bank (blue signs) and turn left into Josef Preis Allee.

By car Coming from Munich: Exit ’Salzburg Süd’ direction city center, drive along Alpenstraße until roundabout in Nonntal (before bridge), turn left into Petersbrunnstraße, turn left into Josef Preis Allee before Hypo Bank (blue signs) until you reach hostel. Parking available at hostel.

Coming from Vienna: Pass by Salzburg and exit ’Salzburg Süd’ direction city center and continue as above. Coming from Styria/Carinthia: Exit ’Salzburg Süd’ direction city center and continue as above.
